Ran a Meeting
Ran a real meeting with a clear agenda, kept it on time, made sure everyone had a chance to speak, and ended with a decision.
The idea
A meeting needs three things: agenda, time limit, decision. Most adults run meetings without any of them and call it a discussion. Have your kid prepare all three before walking in. The decision is the proof the meeting worked. If everyone left without one, the meeting failed even if it was pleasant. Pleasant meetings without decisions are how organizations grind to a halt.
Steps
- Write the agenda before. Three items max.
- Set a hard end time.
- Make sure each attendee speaks at least once.
- End with a decision. Document it.
What counts
A real meeting with agenda, time limit, and documented decision. The agenda and notes are plenty.
