Planned a Playdate

Organized a real playdate or hangout yourself, picked the friends, picked the activity, handled the scheduling with parents, made it happen.

The idea

The point is making something happen that wouldn't have without them. Have your kid handle every step: pick the friend, propose the time, message the parent, plan the activity, deal with the no. Don't fix the bits that go sideways. The first playdate that almost doesn't happen is the most useful one, because that's where they learn organizing humans is harder than it looks.

Steps
  1. Pick the friend. Your kid's call.
  2. Have your kid message the other parent themselves.
  3. Plan one activity in advance.
  4. Let it happen. Don't fix the messy parts.
What counts

A playdate your kid planned end to end that happened. A photo is plenty.
