Led a Small Group

Led a group of 3-5 other kids through a real activity, game, project, chore, adventure, where you were the one deciding what happened next.

The idea

Three to five kids is the smallest group where leadership shows. Have your kid pick the activity, set the order, and call out who does what. The test isn't whether the kids listened. It's whether the activity actually happened. Vague leadership produces standing around in a circle. Specific leadership produces a finished thing. The difference is visible in five minutes.

Steps
  1. Pick the activity. Have a backup.
  2. Assign roles before starting.
  3. Make the calls when the group hesitates. Don't vote on everything.
  4. Finish the activity.
What counts

A 3-5 person group led through a real activity to completion. A photo at the end is plenty.
