Led a Service Project
Led a service or volunteer project that delivered real help to a real cause, 10+ volunteers working under your direction, defined output, measurable impact.
The idea
Service projects fail when the cause is vague. Have your kid pick a specific output before recruiting anyone: a hundred meals served, a yard fully cleared, a room painted, a stretch of trail cleaned. Volunteers want to know what done looks like. Vague impact gets vague effort. Specific impact gets the kind of work that actually changes something measurable. The output sets the energy.
Steps
- Pick a specific output: meals, yards, donations. Real number.
- Recruit 10+ volunteers. Tell them what done looks like.
- Assign tasks. Don't have everyone "help."
- Deliver. Document the impact.
What counts
A service project with 10+ volunteers and a measurable output delivered. A photo plus the impact number is plenty.
