Delegated

Assigned specific tasks to 3+ other people for a project, followed up with each, and got it all done by the deadline.

The idea

Bad delegation says "do this." Good delegation says "do this by Friday, here's what done looks like, here's who to ask if you're stuck." Have your kid write the assignment before handing it off. The kid who delegates clearly gets the work done. The kid who delegates vaguely ends up doing it themselves Sunday night while complaining. Delegation is mostly writing, not assigning.

Steps
  1. Write the task: done looks like X, by when, payment if any.
  2. Hand off in person if possible. Confirm understanding.
  3. Check in once partway.
  4. Accept the work or send it back with specifics.
What counts

A project where 3+ people did assigned work delivered on time. A photo or short writeup is plenty.
