Built a Partnership
Brokered a real partnership between two organizations, groups, or individuals who weren't working together, resulting in a sustained collaboration of at least 6 months.
The idea
Partnerships need a shared deliverable, not just a shared interest. Have your kid identify what each side gets out of the collaboration and write it down. Six months in, check that both sides are still getting it. Partnerships die from drift, not disagreement. Drift starts when the deliverable goes vague. Vague is the enemy. Concrete deliverables, even small ones, keep partnerships alive.
Steps
- Identify two parties not currently working together.
- Broker the intro. Be specific about what each gets.
- Agree on a shared deliverable. Write it down.
- Stay in touch for 6+ months.
What counts
A documented 6+ month partnership your kid brought together. A note from each party is plenty.
