Taught the Craft

Taught your craft to at least 5 people through a workshop, class, or tutorial series they completed.

The idea

You only know what you know when you have to teach it. Have your kid prep one skill they think they understand cold, then watch a beginner not get it. The reaching for new words, new examples, new analogies is where the kid's own mastery deepens. Teaching is the fastest way to expose what you'd been doing by feel. Most experts can't teach because they never had to.

Steps
  1. Pick one specific skill, not a whole domain.
  2. Plan the lesson sequence before teaching.
  3. Teach 5+ people through to completion, not demo.
  4. Have them demonstrate the skill at the end.
What counts

Five people completed your kid's workshop, class, or tutorial series and can demonstrate the skill. A photo of one of them doing it is plenty.
