Built an App That Runs

Built a working app, mobile, desktop, or web, that performs a real function and has been installed or used by someone else.

The idea

Build the smallest app your kid actually wants to use themselves. Not the impressive idea, the useful one. The reminder app, the budget tracker, the calorie counter for their weird specific diet. If your kid uses it three times a week, someone else will too. If even they don't open it after week one, nobody else will either. Use that as the test.

Steps
  1. Pick the smallest useful version. One core function.
  2. Build a v1 your kid uses for a week themselves.
  3. Give it to one other person. Watch them use it without coaching.
  4. Fix what confused them. Ship the fix.
What counts

A working app used by someone other than your kid that does what it's supposed to. A screenshot plus install link is plenty.
