Joined a Team
Completed a full season as a member of an organized team, sport, club, league, attending practices and competing through the finish.
The idea
The season is the milestone, not the team. Showing up to practice when it's cold and you don't want to is the work. Don't let your kid quit mid-season unless something is actually wrong. The whole point is finishing what they signed up for after it stops being fun in week four. The team's wins don't matter. The kid finishing the commitment does.
Steps
- Commit to the full season at signup.
- Show up to practice when you don't feel like it.
- Play your role. Don't lobby mid-season.
- Finish. Attend the last practice and last game.
What counts
A complete season with documented attendance and participation. A team photo or roster is plenty.
