Coached Someone

Coached or assistant-coached at least 5 people through a season or training cycle, with documented improvement in their performance.

The idea

Coaching forces your kid to articulate what they've been doing by instinct. Watching a beginner fumble drills your kid has mastered surfaces gaps they don't see in their own training. Teen coaches improve their own performance more from coaching than from another season as a player. The kid who has to explain why the footwork matters finally understands why the footwork matters.

Steps
  1. Pick 5 athletes committed to a cycle.
  2. Build a written plan, not just freestyle.
  3. Document starting point and ending point for each.
  4. Have them demonstrate the improvement.
What counts

Five people coached through a cycle with documented improvement. The before/after data is plenty.
